Again this is another of the best selling self taught piano books out there. And it’s like that for good reasons.
One of the more interesting things about this book is some of the topics that it covers. These include: Reading music from scratch, Buying your first keyboard or piano. It also provides links to the exercises and and tunes that are published in the book. That is a very useful tool to allow you to hear what something can sound like while you’re practicing.
All in all, Very well written book for beginners wanting to learn how to read music, play piano, understand musical composition, understand the various constructs of music theory and more.

After having completed one of these books, you will have a good basic understanding of the fundamentals of piano. It might be worth considering either getting yourself a teacher, or looking at an online course. Or get yourself a new book and start looking at more niche areas.
